Fall Garden Tips

Fall is just around the corner.

If your place has a place for gardening , here are some gardening tips for fall season.
1.Clean
Scour pots with a stiff-bristled brush and rinse. A solid wood handle and palm fibers make this brush from Smith & Hawken a durable choice.
2.Store Pots
Once clean, turn your terra-cotta pots upside down to prevent them from filling with water, freezing, and cracking. Stack them to save on space.
3.Cover Plants
To keep hardy container gardens, such as succulents, from freezing, cover them with a tarp. Be sure to bring delicate potted plants inside.
4. Stow Hoses
Don't let your garden hose spring a leak! Empty it of waste and keep it safe from the elements. (Remember to turn off outdoor water sources.) A hose pot keeps it neat.
